List your project, and we help you lead it
- Lead the project rather than just complete it. Recruiting and coordinating a team is evidence you cannot generate working alone, and it is recorded on your Symposed profile.
- Named on your listing. Your project is posted under your name, so collaborators know who they are joining.
- Priority placement. Projects that came from a Symposed guide sit at the top of the board.
- Direct support while you work. Ask us about your methodology, your screening decisions or your analysis.
- Help finding a supervisor. We will point you toward suitable people in your field.
- Draft approach emails. We will write the email to your prospective supervisor if you want one.
- A curated list of contacts once your work is done, to help you get it published.
- For licensed professionals, a curated list of journals with their specific requirements set out in your guide.
- More application credits, so you can apply to more projects on the platform.
These become available once you have posted your project on Symposed. Post it, and we will be in touch.
Our commitment
If you believe the question in your guide has already been published, contact us within 30 days with the citation. We will work with you to refine the title, the angle and the workflow, and issue you a modified guide at no cost.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Questions, answered
- Do I need a supervisor to start?
- No. That is the point of the guide. It also tells you exactly who to approach in your field when you do need one, with a template for the email.
- Will this write my paper for me?
- No. It gives you a verified question and a full methodological foundation. You do the research.
- Do I need to declare this to a journal?
- Yes, and we give you the wording. Most journals now require methodological and AI assistance to be disclosed. Your guide includes a disclosure statement you can copy into your methods and acknowledgements.
- What if I have no research experience at all?
- The guide is written for exactly that case. Every step is walked through for your specific study design.
- How long will the project itself take?
- Honestly: a systematic review is typically three to six months of part-time work. The guide removes the months people usually lose to finding a viable question.
- Can I buy a guide with collaborators?
- Yes. One guide, shared. Only one of you needs to buy it.
- What if the question turns out to be already published?
- Contact us within 30 days with the citation. We will work with you to refine the title, the angle and the workflow, and issue you a modified guide at no cost. This does not affect your statutory rights. See the commitment above.
